Floorstanding loudspeaker
The GIP-255 was developed to provide the unique qualities of field coil (electromagnet) based units (as opposed to conventional magnets) using a relatively compact enclosure. The GIP-225 has an 8-inch full-range (no-crossover) unit in a horn enclosure and a twitter, connected to a high-pass filter. The GIP-225 performs very well in small rooms, but due to its high efficiency, it will fill a very large room, without any difficulty.
The accuracy, detail, transparency, speed and dynamics that this speaker is able to provide set a performance bar that will challenge much more expensive speakers.
