Full-Range Powered-Bass Loudspeaker
The Quatro Wood CT is a true full-range speaker combining several Vandersteen technologies. As with the Treo CT, ‘CT’ represents Carbon Tweeter of the famous 5A model. Both the midrage and the mid-bass units are identical to those in the Treo CT. For the purpose of bass, Vandersteen embedded into the Quatro a small version of the SUB THREE, that wonderful and musical subwoofer. Two 8-inch units with an internal 250 watts amplifier provide active bass that easily reaches 24Hz. As in the SUB THREE, here too there is an 11-band equalizer that allows you to reach optimal bass in every location and in every room. Because the bass is controlled separately by a dedicated amplifier, all that remains for the main amplifier in the system is to control everything else, allowing for easy load and better results. A wonderful, musical and delightful speaker.
