Integrated hybrid amplifier
Mimas is an integrated hybrid amplifier intended for high performance audio and home cinema systems. Designed to bridge the gap between ultra high performance separates, such as the Atlas amplifier and Calypso linestage, and mass market receivers. Sound quality, ease of use, flexibility and reliability are hallmarks of the design. Mimas remote control unit is the HRC-3 – Aesthetix’ luxurious unit, which only comes as standard with the top line of Aesthetix preamplifiers (Eclipse).
- Fully balanced differential circuitry, zero feedback.
- Five (5) inputs, both balanced and single ended.
- Output Power: 150 watt into 8 ohm, 280 watt into 4 ohm.
- Discrete switched resistor volume control with 88 1dB steps.
- Bypass mode for home theater processor throughput.
- Preamp out, aimed to drive a subwoofer or a separate power amplifier.
- Standard headphone output is 1/3 watt into 32 ohms.
Options
- Phono board: 2 Single-Ended Inputs, MM & MC specific programmable options (gain and impedance).
- DAC board: 5 Inputs: 2 x Coaxial, 2 x TosLink & 1 x USB. Supports up to 24bit/384K, DSD and DSD2.
- High Pass Crossover, for optimal connection to subwoofers.
- Class A Headphone Amp (1W into 32ohm).
