Floorstanding four-way loudspeaker
In 1977, Richard Vandresteen started it all with the Model 2. It was the first model with which he broke into the audio market (Model 1 was released only towards 1984). Over the years, Vandresteen has perfected the 2 and so came one after the other 2A, 2B, 2C, 2Ci, 2Ce, 2Ce Signature and finally the current version 2Ce Signature II. All along the way, the structure and basic design were maintained, but whenever it was possible to achieve significant improvements in units and crossover, it was done.
For over more than 40 years (!!!), over 100,000 pairs were sold throughout the world. A minimalist structure with minimum-area baffles for driver mountings, supported by a metal skeleton wrapped in black acoustic fabric, have over the years become a trademark of Vandersteen speakers. Many realized the extraordinary value that this impressive and highly musical speaker brings with it, at an unbeatable price.
The 2Ce Signalture II has optional bases that are used to tilt the speakers back and add dampness and stability. Although optional, they are highly recommended.
